Sha’Tara Robinson, MA
Support Coordinator & Glamorous Cookie
I lead Biscochito’s efforts of ensuring caregivers at Biscochito have their needs met so that the best care can be provided to the Person Supported.
Words to describe myself: Outgoing, compassionate, kind, understanding, hardworking and artistic
I was born in Monroe, Louisiana but have spent the majority of my life in Texas. After living in Dallas/Fort Worth, San Angelo, and Jefferson, I have called Houston “home” since 2017.
I received a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Angelo State University in August of 2014 and a Masters of Arts in Counseling from East Texas Baptist University in December of 2016. Professionally, I have worked with at-risk youth, children in the foster care system and private adoption in the State of Texas. Since transitioning to Biscochito in 2023, I not only rejuvenated my desire to advocate and care for others but have greatly appreciated the positive space that Biscochito has provided to do so. The work I have done at Biscochito has challenged me to grow as a professional and individual. I am a better, more considerate person because of it.
My love for my family, friends, the community and plants helps me to be the best version of myself while still continuously seeking how to be better for those around me.
