At Biscochito®, we prioritize quality relationships, and we understand hesitancy around starting a relationship with a caregiver.
Our society rewards us for independence, regardless of the cost. Older adults are often more at risk for isolation and loneliness, despite the love of their near and dear. According to the US Surgeon General, loneliness is as much a risk to your health as smoking 15 cigarettes a day.
At Biscochito® we pride ourselves on being flexible and providing customized support. We recognize not everyone is ready for a long-term commitment to a caregiver. Biscochito® Care On Call invites you to explore what it might be like to develop a relationship with a caregiver for companionship, help around the house, a game of cards, accompaniment to a medical appointment, or on an outing?
That’s where our on-call caregiving services come in.
Biscochito® Care on Call serves Santa Fe and Los Alamos, including:
Caregivers are available Monday – Thursday and Saturdays from 9am-4pm for 1-4 hour visits. No commitment to a minimum number of hours or visits is required. Simply call before noon the day before you’d like a visit with your reservation request. Our team will confirm your visit by 5pm the day before. Cost is $45 per hour. You’ll be greeted on time with a Biscochito® caregiver, like those pictured below:
